SSL Certificates for Facebook Pages

Since October this year Facebook requires the use of Security Certificates to show Facebook fan pages. SSL Certificates are available through your hosting company and run anywhere between $50-70/year. The certificates up to now were mainly used for websites with e-commerce functions.

While we recommend, hosting your own Facebook pages on your server, we found a third-party option to host your fan page on a secure server for free. This enables affordable Facebook fan pages for businesses without doubling the hosting costs.

Why does my website look different on my computer?

Websites can look quite different on different computers depending on what browser are installed and if you have a Pc or a Mac. The differences in a Pc and a Mac are mostly the way they render color but also the fonts they use as defaults.

The biggest difference though is the browser. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Opera are the most common. We test our websites to display properly on most versions of these common browsers. Older version of Internet Explorer display a lot of bugs. Unfortunately, a lot of businesses without a computer person just stay with the old version and never upgrade.
